Summary of the Position
Accounting & Tax Manager will be responsible for company’s overall accounting and tax matter. The selected candidate is expected to manage account closing process, prepare standard financial report, comply with IFRS for SME, lead tax audit preparation & negotiation, & drive tax compliance planning. He or She will also be in charge of leading the team and develop them for career and self-advancement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Responsibilities
Strategically oversee the entire Accounting and Tax function
Be in charge of account closing process to ensure efficiency and timeliness
Prepare an accuracy of all standard financial reports, and key financial ratios
Present financial result & position to Department Manager & Managing Director
Control new store project budget & do variance analysis and work closely with key stakeholders in the projects
Overview and update accounting policy to comply with IFRS for SME
Oversee record management & internal control
Supervise Tax team for monthly & annual tax declaration and tax accounting execution
Work with tax audit for document preparation & explanation or other critical tax issues
Lead tax compliance program and comprehensive tax planning
Support the first-time implementation of POS & ERP system
Train and develop team capacity by knowledge sharing, coaching or other creative programs
Strongly engage the work rapport across internal department and also external stakeholder such as external auditor, tax auditor, and tax officers, etc
Other tasks assigned by line manager

REQUIREMENT
Bachelor of accounting, finance, and business administration,
ACCA or MBA is a plus
Experience in Accounting Management for 5 years and Tax Management for 3 years
Knowledge in IFRS for SME, Cambodian Tax, Accounting policy & internal control
Knowledge of ERP system (Ms. Dynamic NAV, SAP, Oracle, etc)
Proficient in English language
Strong leadership & management skills or a sense of leader
Strong in analytical/critical thinking skills
Good at solving problem solving skills
Willing to learn attitude
